Boccaccio Literary Prize, Certaldo (Florence) – Italy

The Giovanni Boccaccio Literary Prize celebrates its 44th edition with an evening dedicated to literature, journalism, and ethical communication.

This year’s awards go to:

Melania Mazzucco – Literature
Ezio Mauro – Journalism
Claudio Baglioni – Communication Ethics

The ceremony will be hosted by Simona Dei, president of the Giovanni Boccaccio Literary Association, with the participation of the jury composed of Walter Veltroni (president), Antonella Cilento, Roberto De Ponti, Marta Morazzoni, Paolo Ermini, and Agnese Pini.

The readings will be performed by Benedetta Giuntini, leading the audience through the stories, words, and visions that have shaped the careers of the award winners.
